Bamboo Company Update – Change of Auditor
Bamboo Company Update – Change of Auditor
Since 2022, Bamboo’s financial statements have been audited by global accounting firm BDO.
Being subject to an independent audit provides further confidence to our shareholders, customers and other partners regarding Bamboo’s financial reports, the appropriateness of accounting policies, and the reasonableness of accounting estimates and related disclosures made by management.
In 2024, Bamboo has reengaged BDO to perform an independent audit of its 2024 financial statements.
However, due to the national integration of BDO, there has been a change in the name of the audit entity from BDO Audit (WA) Pty Ltd (previous audit entity) to BDO Audit Pty Ltd (new audit entity).
As required by ASIC, Bamboo has gone through a formal process of accepting the resignation of BDO Audit (WA) Pty Ltd and appointing BDO Audit Pty Ltd as our auditors.
Importantly, there is no change in practical terms to the BDO audit team or audit process.
As we continue to drive digital asset adoption in Australia, Bamboo welcomes enhanced scrutiny of the cryptocurrency and digital asset industry to provide greater credibility and transparency to sector participants.
