Meet the Team: Sarah Louise Kinsella
Meet the Team: Sarah Louise Kinsella
On this weeks instalment of Meet the Team we catch up with our visual imagery maestro Sarah Louise Kinsella. A true creative, we're so stoked to have part of the line up here at Bamboo and we can't wait for you to get to know her too...
Role at Bamboo?
Brand/Graphic Designer.
What do you love about your job?
The collaboration, the flexibility, the team trust, and the general feeling that everyone isn’t only a colleague.
When you’re not at work - what are you up to?
Photographing and making art, or cooking up a storm and drinking delicious wine. We’ve also just bought a chess set, so that’s been fun as a combo with a Jalapeño Margarita and Cheddar chips – give it a go!
Favourite holiday destination?
Austria! Clean air, lovely people, beautiful glacial lakes, amazing food, and the most incredible scenery.
Any crypto project you’re keeping a close eye on?
I’m trying to wrap my head around the NFT market and work out the best way to enter it.
Have you been into crypto for a while?
No, only since I started at Bamboo.
If you weren’t Brand/Graphic Designer what would you be?
I can’t seem to let go of photographing as a hobby, so that feels like the next thing for me.
What was your childhood dream?
To become a photographic artist, ha!
Favourite sports team?
I’m the worst at a sports game. I recommend not inviting me if you’re head strong about one team. I’ll cheer on anyone who’s playing well as moral support to individuals, not because I want to cheer on the winning team.
Favourite social media platform and why?
Instagram because it’s simple, it’s based on imagery, and there’s so much creative potential! It’s typically someone’s first glance at a brand where they form their perception and a great space for creatives to play in.
Any podcasts we should check out?
Philosophize This by Stephen West. He explores opposing or connected views by recognised philosophers. It gets you thinking about your own perspective while appreciating both ideologies featured that have influenced our world. It’s a nice long car drive listen.
Any TV / Movie recommendations for us?
Last TV series I watched was Ozark. I’m a fan of English crime dramas, so give Broadchurch a go, if you are too. Actually, just jump onto SBS On Demand because they have plenty! Truth be told, I watch reality TV mostly because it’s the only style of show that stops my creative mind thinking...GO REAL HOUSEWIVES!!! Hahah
Haha! A classic catch up and a great snapshot into Sarah's flair. If you're reading this be sure to follow along her creative endeavours on her Instagram here and professional profile here.
