Navigating the Migration to Open Banking
At Bamboo, we are always looking for ways to improve our users’ experience. That's why we are excited to announce that we are migrating to Open Banking. In this post, we will provide a guide to help our users understand what this means for them and how to navigate the transition smoothly.
What is Open Banking?
Open Banking is in the process of being adopted by banks throughout Australia and provides users with full visibility of their data, as well as who it’s being shared with and the purpose for sharing it. We are big fans of Open Banking here at Bamboo, so we will be adopting it as soon as it becomes available with each bank. For more of a deeper dive into it and the benefits checkout a previous blog post we wrote here.
The Transition to Open Banking
Starting next week, we will be requiring a forced update of Bamboo, which will allow for the migration to Open Banking. After updating, all users will be guided through the next steps over the course of the month. It is a simple process that will differ from bank to bank, so all users will be contacted via email with a step by step guide to transition over when their chosen bank will migrate across.
The migration process has been designed to make the transition as seamless, simple and effortless as possible but should any users have any questions they can of course reach out to our superstar support team via support@getbamboo.io
By incorporating Open Banking into our platform, we aim to provide our users with a more seamless user experience and provide our users the ability to take ownership of their data.
Thank you for your continued support.
